About me
Jonathan is a pianist and composer who writes music across various genres, though he specialises in cinematic and orchestral music. A family man at heart, he is blessed to have a lovely wife, three daughters, and five grandchildren. His musical journey began in the 1970s, coinciding with becoming a christian. He continues to serve his local church as a keyboardist. He is open to new creative ventures or collaborations - contact him at jonnersmusic@outlook.com
To craft his sound, Jonathan employs Cubase Pro by Steinberg, integrated with premium libraries and plugins from Spitfire Audio, Arturia, Heavyocity, Native Instruments, Fabfilter, and other top developers.
Jonathan studied organ and piano as a teenager, gaining Grade 8 Piano and A level Music whilst at School. Whilst he followed a career outside of music he has been Organist and Choirmaster at a local Parish Church, played keys in function bands, for musicals and at other events. He also teaches piano and continues to study music online enjoying (for the most part!) various music theory and technical courses.
